The SIHD connector combines excellent electrical performances to high density of contacts within a robust housing, which can withstand extreme environmental conditions. In addition, the lateral displacement capability allows the usage of thermal clamps for heat management, as well as an easier positioning on the backplane in terms of tolerances. The optional central ground strip provides a cross talk protection and permits the routing of diffy pairs. Contacts can be maintenanced individually.
