A step ahead of the rest, this innovative PCB connector combines high density with outstanding reliability

The HDAS connector can house up to 303 contacts from 3 to 6 rows (1,905mm/.075 pitch). It combines high density with harsh environment resistance and is especially notable for its ability to resist high temperatures: Thanks to the use of LCP material, this rectangular connector offers the broadest temperature range on the market from 65°C to 150°C and more. Shocks & Vibrations tests have been performed under dynamic electrical continuity control, down to 2ns.

The high temperature resistance means the HDAS makes the lead-free reflow process possible, and furthermore, PC tails terminations platings and hardware are conforming to the RoHS regulation.

The star clip style contact provides excellent electrical and mechanical reliability, thanks to the 6 lipsof contact. The average current per contact is 4,5A, well above the 2 or 3A traidtionnaly used by the industry. Coding devices are in accordance with both NFC UTE 93424 and MIL-DTL-55302, providing excellent mechanical reliability.
HDAS is easy to install, easy to build and easy to use. Made with a one piece shell design, no tooling required. Further, the Starclip contact enables easy unmating.
The plug is offered with a robust 0.68mm diameter male contact and flexible circuit or right angle PCB Tail termination. The receptacle is offered with socket contacts, PC tail termination or press fit. Connectors for board to board parallel connections, or extender cards are available upon request.
